Everyone on here has been there to help me it's great and makes me feel good. Thank you.

I am terribly hungry this morning and would like to get something in my tummy because it's very upset right now. I drank the Carnation Instant Breakfast last night, which DID NOT send me into an episode but did make me very gassy. VERY gassy! Sheesh! I thought maybe that would help with the bubbling and cramping, but it did not. I just don't know what else to eat. The salad killed me, the orange killed me and salads and fruits are what I like to eat.

So now, what can I eat? [emoji17] any suggestions? Please!!!! My Mom was going to go to the store and get me some food and I told her I would ask you guys since I'm really just not making sense right now and cannot concentrate enough to keep looking through web pages upon web pages. I think I'm actually just losing my mind all together! Ha[emoji16] suggestions would be great to help settle this alien living in my tummy... Food and drinks? Please. Even if it's just one thing I would really appreciate it. Thank you all again.

I find avocado gives me minimal cramping and pain! as well as tuna and rice!! they're my go-to foods when I'm in pain but need some food in me!
Liquids become super boring after a while! Feel your pain on this!!!

almond butter heavily spread on a banana. additional fruits such as strawberries or blueberries on top too is very good and filling! I eat that everyday mostly in the morning as a breakfast.

My go to food is soup. Make a hearty broth with bones and/or meat, but don't necessarily eat the meat. Add potatoes and vegetables and cook until very well done. Start with the broth and see how that stays down. Toast, bananas, rice and mashed potatoes are usually well tolerated. Keep a food journal so you can pinpoint what does/does not agree with you. :ghug:

Hi,
I've had some success in the past (when things were really bad) with a clear fluid diet. Soup broth, tea, etc. It isn't a long term solution because of the lack of calories.

Are you currently on any medication?

When my wife's Crohn's is acting up she will switch to the "white diet": mashed potatoes (instant are fine digestively, if you are OK with the taste), baked potatoes, cooked white rice, yogurt, cooked eggs (whites or the whole egg). All very mild but filling foods. Plain white bread or plain cooked pasta is fine for her, but the wheat bothers some people.

When she is on such a diet she completely avoids raw fruits and vegetables (both of which she loves) and once things are a little better will start on canned fruit or vegetables, very well cooked.
