Need to Cover Bag for Intimacy - Help?

Hello to all.

I am looking for something to cover stoma during intimacy with my husband and am looking for ideas...I was thinking of tube top but it has to have elastic at top and bottom to enclose bag and those are hard to find. Any ideas would be appreciated.
 
Believe me I KNOW how you feel. After getting one myself just a year ago, I was having the same problem trying to find something. I was blessed to find one company though, I believe www.Tubetops.net . I bought a waist tube (top) to go right over the bag and it was pretty comfortable. You can try them...see how you like it. Not sure if they still sell them though but give it a try. I wish you well with this.
 
a basque would cover the pouch and be sexy. you just tuck the opening of the pouch up inside the basque.

hey jackson ive got an ileo too and ive discovered that there are SO many ostomy colothing, undies, lingere sites out there, maybe just google ostomy and intimacy or something like that and see what comes up. if you dont find anything you actually wanna buy, then at least youve got some some ideas!
i know theres this site call "myhiptee" and its this little band that goes around your hips/waist or wherever to give the look of layered tees you know? buts its really just a band. some of them are lace and pretty! not soecificlly made for ostomy, but ive heard people who use them! here it is:

one more suggestion, have you ever taken a look at the UOAA discussion boards? its www.uoaa.org and then click the discussion tab. ive read through many of the topics there and there seem to be a quite a few on sex and intimacy and undergarments! lots of suggestions!

Remember we're from the south now, my brother got someone to sew him a camoflague cover for his bag! He claims you'l never see it! LOL
 
I used the brown wrap they use on sprains and stuff to wrap around my stomach to hold it to my body... then when i couldn't find that i used duck tap
 
hahahaha ... I have this great visual of Mark walking out of the bathroom with his shirt off and duct tape wrapped around his body. hahahaahahah

Farm ... I like your brothers way of thinking. ;) haha
 
I personally used a fanny pack. when I had the bag, I had cut a hole in the back of the fanny pack and passed the bag in through there.

( yes it looked kind of funny but hey this was 18 years ago, I am sure things have changed since but you never know. )

on a useful note this also helped me with a problem I experienced with the bag unhooking and causing a huge mess.

Well we ain't blood, but we are closer than any of my "real" brothers.
He had colon cancer and has stoma from that.
 
you could also try white rose collections, they havee some really nic underwear, and there not all "big pants" either
 
I'm glad I found this post...it has some great ideas and websites to use. I have already bought some "tube tops" off the website and I am going to look on ebay now for some cheaper "hip-t's". My daughter just got a surprise ileostomy a week a go so I am trying to find ways to help her see that she can still dress cute and not worry !
I know these posts here are rather old, so are there any new and updated ideas? or websites to try? or anything that the girls have found to make yourself more comfortable in dressing?

I'm trying to surprise Gab with packages coming in the mail and lots of "samples" for her to try ! I need to put a smile back on her beautiful face and show her she can still have a very normal and productive life with her stoma...and look great doing it !
 
To be honest, I got some ostomy "intimates" when I had my temp years ago. We ended up doing away with those, we found them cumbersome. Frankly, my sex is sex in my husband's eyes and it didn't matter to him if I had a bag or not....
 
I find it doesn't matter for my fiance and I either...I do have a pouch cover, but I use it mostly to keep my bag out of my man's ear....lol I just wind up wearing babydolls...they look cute and cover everything up :)
