need you..again!

UGH. Screw my life right now :( this sucks!! I literally can't stay off the toliet and I can't down these stupid pills for c diff. so I was wondering for you guys with experience if you could help me come up with a list of questions for my next doc visit. He wants to do 6mp but after reading on it I'm not sure if that's really where I want to go. I guess I'm open to try anything I'm just ready to start feeling some improvement! My dads friends wife also just had a surgery (not sure the name) and had a bag for a year to let her insides rest she just had the reversal and is better then ever!! Is this something I should consider bringing up or is it a last resort?? Thanks!

Hi there, not sure have you had Remicade? Sorry been so long since I have been on here, but just wondering all of what you have been through. 6mp is a scary drug for some but does wonders for others. Having surgery when you are young is sometimes a better route and staying off heavy duty drugs for a spell can help but only if it is needed. Once you take it out you can't put it back. Hopefully your doctor will suggest something for you that helps you out of being on the throne all the time. Not fun. Hang in there.

Remicade is a miracle drug, if you haven't tried it yet, I suggest you go down that rout first.

As far as surgery goes, It was the best thing that I have ever done. After almost 14 years with severe crohns and never going into remission, I had an ileostomy for six months last year. Now, about four months after my reversal, I am in remission for the first time ever! For me, it was so very worth it, and having a bag wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Everyone is different, but there are options out there. I hope you find your path to health soon!
