Nerve damage

Has anyone been told that they have nerve damage from CD?
I have right side pain and having difficulty with motility, but GI states my CD is "quiet". And he believes it could be nerve damage and mentioned pain clinic!

What are your thoughts? Please help, I am so worried as to what I should do! Many thanks

Sorry you are suffering. I know what it's like having symptoms with no clear explanation. I have unexplained neuropathy which is really annoying.

It is believed IBD increases our chances for neurological problems http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/04/070423185730.htm
That being said its not as common of an extra intestinal manifestation.

I too am sorry to hear about your pain. I am new to this sight. Your post caught me before putting in my info. I have been suffering pain over the years and it seems to always be on my dominate side and joint pain. This time it is different like a nerve/circulation. My pain is in my left shoulder, bi cep, forearm and my left thumb is numb. Thumb will turn cold at times and hard to move. Have been seeing a chiro and massage therapist and started some stretches. It has been 1 month now and slowly improving. have you talked to a dr?
