I believe I may have totally lost my mind... I am so tired its rediculous.

I have been fighting a cold all week long (no fever, just stuffy nose sore throat and yuck feeling), lost part of tooth Tuesday to a freaking gummy vitamin (REALLY?) had to go to the dentist yesterday got happy gas (not so happy) shots lots of drilling and all that fun. Well today my husband said you should stay home... should have listened to him. I don't know what the problem is (guess its partly because I am tired) but I am crying like a baby. My head, my jaw, my teeth and my sinuses are all killing me and I just want some soup. Kind of stupid but what really set off this whole crying bit was I got to work feeling horrible and thinking "Oh well it will be fine, I can have hubby meet me in town for some pho(vietnamese soup) after work and it will all be better" but then I realized that we can't do that. Tonight is parent teacher conference... so I have to rush home and go to both my kids schools, talk to their teachers and pick up cookie dough for the fundraiser they did the week after school started.

I am sorry... I am just tired all the time. All things considered my crohns is doing pretty well but today it all just seems to much to take. I need a hug... lol

Thanks for listening.

Aw, sounds like you've got tons of stuff going on right now, MissBG! Sounds very overwhelming. I can relate a bit - I have had a cold this week too, and that really knocked me down with fatigue and made my guts act up too - I can't imagine doing all that other stuff you mentioned on top of feeling so crappy. Sending you a big hug!

Could you have some pho first and then go to the parent teacher conference, or could you maybe get your husband to go to the conference without you while you rest and eat soup? Or at the very least, surely you could go get pho once the conference is over with? At any rate, pho sounds good and I hope you get to go have some, somehow. Hope your cold gets better soon and that things generally become less overwhelming and stressful very soon. Hang in there!

I did the dentist thing last week, except my tooth chipped from a jolly rancher! Sending you good wishes that the parents tell you that your kids are awesome students, and that you get a good night's rest and have a fresh start tomorrow. (and maybe a little cookie dough for a midnight snack?!) I hope that you feel better soon, and that things slow down a bit. Don't feel bad about crying...we all need to let things out once in a while!

Thanks everyone! I still feel pretty bad today but not as emotional... truth is I tend to get very emotional when I am really tired. No soup last night but the parent teacher conferences went well and I had just enough time to pick up the cookie dough between them. I think part of the problem is the hubbs just went back toworking nights and its been a little tough for everyone to adjust but we are managing.

On a separate note pho has always been one of my favorite comfort foods since my diagnosis. The ginger in the broth help calm my stomach, rice noodles are easy to digest and it is still really flavorful and yummy. :)
