Never ending abscesses

I used to be on humira & then cimzia, soon after both medications I started getting abscesses, that was more than a year ago, I haven't been on any medication except for suboxone, I am still getting abscesses! Does anyone know if this is happening because of the crohns or the previous medication???

My guess would be crohns. Have you talked to the doctor?

My doc isn't any help, she acts like it's not a big deal, considering getting a new doc, one that takes my concerns seriously would be nice!

I just recently gota CD diagnosis, but if it helps any, I have had 4 abscesses this past year, which have all been in the same general location, and one fistula form. (My last surgery being in January '14.) Currently, my GI thinks a new fistula could be forming and has stated that it is common for abscesses and fistulas to form in people with moderate to advanced CD. I don't know if this helps, as each person heals differently from fissures and fistulas and has differences in the way they reoccur or do not, but I hope that you get some answers soon. Have you considered a colo-rectal surgeon that has experience with CD patients?
