Hello everyone.I just joined this forum today.And am very glad I did.This forum is what I need.I have Crohns.Found out I had it in 2003.I have a mild to moderate case.It has been in remission since 2006.Hope to give and get advice from everyone.Thanks everyone.

I am very pleased that you are in remission and have been for a really reasonable amount of time, long may it continue! Are you on meds? What would you say has been your key to this current success? Do you have ANY issues at all are you 'normal' :ywow:

Welcome to the forum....I found it not too long ago myself and I am so thankful I have! :thumright: I too have Crohns and have had it for 20 some-odd years....I am in the worse flare-up ever!! But this forum certainly makes me feel supported and validated! :ybiggrin:

Hello Rob and welcome to the forum :bigwave: Really sorry you have had such a tough time of it. Fingers crossed the Infliximab will do the job for you, I should think the Pred will just need to be tapered very slowly because of how long you have been on it, I fojnd this the last time I was on it. Let us know how you get on on the 8th. I would also put your post on a new thread on the my story forum so more people can see it

Welcome to the forum :welcome: - I've had Crohns for 25+ years and I only joined here about a week or so ago. It's been great chatting to people who know what I've been through etc.
Am sure you'll make alot of friends on here as everyone is really friendly.
