New pain (sort of)

Morning all

Well this morning I woke up sweating and running to the loo but the pain when I went was horrific !!
It was my normal D,but it felt like my intestines were ripping out at the same time !
The pain was really nasty and sharp not cramping and made me want to throw up at the same time.
It was relieved by the bowel movement, but now I feel really sore internally on the left side and
exhausted an dizzy from it. Normally my crampy pain is lower and upper right.
This has happened before I was in hospital in sept but I forgot all about it untill today !
Any ideas to what this could be?
All this pain is really getting me down now I just want to be normal or at least in minimal pain this is no life to live at all.
Seriously if it wasn't for my husband and kids !!

Jenny, are you still on pred? or just haven't updated your meds? If it's something completely new, maybe you should go to the docs. It could be time for a med change maybe.

That sort of sounds like the pain I was having when I was partially obstructed. I was still able to pass stool and gas, but the pain was unbearable. The cramps felt like labor pains. Are you thinking of going to the ER? I wouldn't suffer to long before considering it. I'm so sorry you woke up feeling so bad. I hope you get relief soon.

That is what it felt like when I had a fistula.....it absolutely killed me to go to the bathroom from the feces passing through the (raw) tract....but you 'gotta go'.....

I would contact your doctor and get seen sooner than later. Good luck!

What passobuff said seems more like what the pain was like going past raw or inflammed tissue ,at least I think so I'm sure I'm not obstructed but i ate some noodles and a few cups of tea and it all just felt stuck it wouldn't move down at all not indigestion coz i was full of liquid an then it all just came back up . Great !
I'm hoping to have a nice sleep now I'm exhausted, let's see how tommorow goes

Same again this morning

I was woken with pain about 4am , I managed to get back to sleep till I was woken again to run to the loo, an have been a few times since .
I'm so tired from this which is understandable but it's not fair to my kids who want me to take them out an demand all my attention.

I've been searching the net for answers on the difference between ibd an ibs ,an all say that ibs does not cause inflammation, anemia and weight loss .(correct me if I'm wrong)
So what is my gastro talking about ?
I don't know if there is a family link as I don't know my family I was brought up in foster care.
I wish there was a fast an easy answer here so I could get some help

Hi Jenny - Sorry you are going thru this pain! If this is out of the ordinary for you, I wouldn't wait too long to call the doc or go to the ER if you are having trouble keeping food down or have excessive D. Maybe they could even push up the date of your pill cam.
