So I see my dr tmw (thankfully they're awesome at fitting me in!) but there's so much online, I can't really pinpoint possible causes as to what I'm feeling

Anyone have any possible ideas as to what this may be?

Urge to have bm's yet nothing but mucus comes out (mostly a clear yellow color, sometimes a more milky yellow, a few times been a yellowish with light pink possibly very scant blood)

Lots of mucus, when I do have a BM it is covering the stools

What looks like externam hemorrhoids possibly on my anus

Lots of burning/tearing-like pain when trying to pass a stool

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Your comments are appreciated

It sounds like classic symptoms of inflammation in your colon and possibly irritation of the lining of your rectum/anus if not inflammation there as well. Mucous is normal in small doses because it helps your body pass stool. However excessive mucous like you are seeing is a sign of inflammation and your colon trying to protect itself from what it feels is a foreign invader. Have you been officially diagnosed with any form of IBD already?

Good thing your appointment is today. Make sure your doctor knows all of your symptoms. Your doctor should be able to run tests to help try and determine the source/cause of irritation, bleeding and inflammation.

Feel better!

Yes, Crohns. And thank you for your comments. I was thinking maybe inflammation but am wondering if they are related to the lumps on the outside. We shall see!

Hope you feel better soon. I go to have accupuncture once a week and the lady always asks me if I see blood or mucus.

He said the only thing that he could see or feel was a skin tag (which doesn't cause any pain or mucus) very strange. At least there's nothing noticeable wrong I suppose!

Did he suggest running any tests? What did he say about the inflammation? What medications are you on for crohn's?
