Hello to everyone
I have just joined this site and am looking forward to speaking to people who understands all about these types id diseases. I was diagnosed on the 21st of September 2011 with severe Crohn's disease and it has gone down hill since then,I am only now waiting to have my first surgery.i have had to be referred to 3 different hospitals as the first one messed up my treatment and the 2nd one couldn't help me anymore. I have had lots of treatments from asacol to infliximab. I am currently taking tramadol, paracetamol, methotrexate, gabapentin, buscopan, mabevarine, citalopram, iron tablets, anti histamines (just been informed I have an allergic reaction to somethings..no idea what) and I think that's it..my husband has to sort them for me as I forget what I am taking. I was also just told that I have ulcerative colitis in my large bowel and crohns in my small bowel,my eyes and possibly my bladder..which I am being tested for in December. I am 30 years old and would just love to hear other people's opinions on how to cope with all if this,I know there are people who are much worse off and I feel terrible for them but I can try to be strong for so long n then just cave when I don't expect it. My main fear is that one of my 2 daughters might end up having this life changing illness and that would be absolutely terrible. Anyway, sorry for going on,just needed to vent abit I think. I look forward to any future conversations. Best wishes to all x x
