Newbie from Indianapolis

Hi everyone! My name is Leela and I'm a newbie from Indianapolis. I've lived with Crohns Disease for as long as I could remember, and it's been a pretty hectic life. It's prevented me from doing the things that I've loved and it's almost kept me from attending my own graduation. It's painful, emotionally depressing and just no fun at all

Either way, I'm glad to have found a forum where I can communicate my feelings and hopefully give a hug or two. It's great to be here and I hope to meet you all soon!

Hi Leela! I'm from Indianapolis too! And I was wondering if you know of any Crohn's meetups in the city or support groups. I know there is a Take Steps walk in the spring but I missed it this year and I haven't been in Indy very long. Hope you are doing well.

Hi Leela and everyone else! I am the mother of a 10 1/2 year old boy recently diagnosed with Crohns disease...... we are in Indy as well and we would also love to know if there are any support groups locally for parents and/or kids with this chronic disease.
