Wierd to say that I am a newbie, have not felt new since our daughter first became sick and was eventually diagnosed with Crohn's. I never knew that I would know how to flush an IV, or suction a NG tube, or know the name of every nurse on a hospital floor. Another coloscopy coming up for our daughter this month, very worried if we get good or bad pics :(

Hi,
Just replied to your post on My Story... but, just more wishes that all goes well at her colonoscopy!! :rosette1:

Hey Mum,

I hope all goes well with the scope hun and it is all good news!...:goodluck:

Good luck with the scope Mom and welcome aboard!!...now I'm off to find Your Story for the details.

Hi Taterslady,
Welcome to the forum. I have found it a real help. I hope you will too. Sometimes it is just nice knowing we are not alone!

OK, so colonoscopy tomorrow morning, fingers crossed for good pictures. I am still amazed at the stregth of our daughter, "it's just another colonoscopy, Mom". Lol ! I am so proud of her for the way she has taken all of this on like it is nothing. I am strong enough to be a Mom, but I am barely strong enough to be a bistander. Did anyone else see the story on the Evening News with Brian Williams about a week ago? It was about a chalk board wall in New York City that posed one simple question ... "Before I die". Some reponses are selfish, some personal. When my husband asked me what I would write, my answer was simple and instant ... Before I die let them find a cure for Crohn's !! Check out the story about the wall:

Prayers and fingers :)

Hey Mum,

Before I die let them find a cure for Crohn's !!
