newly diagnosed...would much rather be on the vespa forum

Hi,
My name is Sandra and I am new to this forum. The ONLY good thing about being diagnosed with CD is that there is a reason for my fatigue (I thought I was lazy). I lost a quick ten pounds, which I really couldn't afford to do since I am skinny already. I have a new job with the State and I get nervous because I call out at least once per month (it doesn't help that my commute is one hour and sometimes have to pull off the highway 2 or three times). I have recently discovered that I can apply for FMLA if I have a chronic disease and will be doing so shortly...especially since I called out again today
The Doc started me on Apriso and I seem to be getting headaches so I guess I'm off to search this forum for Apriso side effects.

Welcome to the forum Sandra!

I am sorry for your your diagnosis, but you will see that there are many members here who also have to battel trhough fatigue and have found ways to help them do so.

I am glad you looked into potential benefits/leave that is available for you as that will hopefully allow you to get some of your energy back.

I have not been on Apriso myself so am not familiar with side effects.
