Hrm...maybe it's just me but I'm still waiting on the Cookies = Cure for Crohn's.
Transplanting marrow is ridiculously painful and sometimes deadly.
but at least this is a step forward in research.
 
Yum, chocolate stem cells to cure IBD, though even without the chocolate I'm sitting here patiently (for the last 18.5 yrs) waiting for a cure already....okay, not very patiently but I haven't killed anyone in the last 2 decades of having this disease so that has to count for something.

havent actually, but thought about it many times!!!
 
The more options the better... we definitely need more research into potential therapies for IBD, so this is at least a step in the right direction
 
Its a shame that Bush banned Stem cell research during his tenure - that's 8 years of the finest American minds working on soloutions for dieseases down the drain

I hear you there. There's a lot of that type research can help many people, not only here in the states but aboard too.
