Hi all,
Does anyone else get night sweats? Is it an indication of a flare?
I am not taking any steroids which I think can cause them as well.

Last year I went through a thing where I had them for about a week and it was really bad. Full blown AC going and everything and I would sweat terribly! Just as I was going to get it checked out it started to go away so I never found out what was up

I certainly think it could be indicative of a flare. Are you feverish at all? Do you get chills? Have you noticed any trends in relation to it? Could it possibly be hormonal? Have you made any changes with the change in the season such as new bedding, using a heater, etc.?

I suspect they are from your Azathioprine. From the U.S. National Library of Medicine -- "Azathioprine has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, but doctors may sometimes prescribe azathioprine to treat these conditions. If you develop any of these symptoms during your treatment, call your doctor immediately: stomach pain; fever; unexplained weight loss; night sweats or easy bruising or bleeding."

Thanks guys! I have been on the Azathioprine for 18 months and last night I think was the first time I have had night sweats like this other than when I have had obvious fevers. This time I don't have any fever and everything has been pretty good since I started humira 3 weeks ago. I felt nauseated yesterday and today I had bad D in the morning and am sore to the right of my belly button and right under the bottom rib on the left. Thankfully I have an apt with my GI tomorow anyway. I just thought it was strange to have night sweats without a fever.
