I went to a specialist a couple of months ago. I keep calling my gi. A colonoscopy I had last year said the Crohn's had spread from my small intestine into my colon. The specialist said he didn't see any significant inflammation. I am trying to clear things up but no response yet. They are usually pretty good at getting back to me.

Are you currently being treated for crohn's?
Two months is a long time to wait for a response from the GI
Have you tried getting in touch again by phoning
If there is no response from further attempts it could be time to seek another
more caring GI
It may not be wise to continue doing nothing especially if you do not have a defined treatment and follow
up plan
Feel better soon
Hugs and best wishes

Found out that the specialist agrees it has spread to the colon. Now my gi is trying to get the specialist to formulate a plan but they are not returning his messages.

My gi finally made contact with the specialist. He is not convinced the Crohn's has spread to the colon. He thinks the prep for the colonoscopy could have caused the inflammation. He wants to start me back on Imuran at a lower dosage.
