North east stoma girls!! UK

I noticed through facebook that other areas in the UK there were groups of people who have had stoma surgery, J-pouch surgery, and bowell resections and diversions meeting socially and interacting and building friendships. i looked but there isn't anything like that up in the north east! or haven't I looked hard enough? Anyway i decided to start up a group page on facebook for girls/woman in north east englan d who have stomas and internal pouches. the page is northeast stoma girls. I'm hoping we can use it for discussions, chat and hopefully meet ups like bbq's, days out, nights out, shopping trips etc. and lots of stoma girly pics and fashion tips!! please come join! If you don't have facebook, sign up or use this site to communicate??? also anyone else want to help run the group? I was lucky to have my cousin dawny nearby to speak to and share with, without her I'd have been alone! Yes I've made friends with people throughout the uk on facebook and can chat with people on here but it's also good to have real face to face contact and friendship! Sorry guys, but its girls only! maybe one of you blokes could do a bloke group, then we can occasionally have joine girls and blokes events?
