Numbness

I've been having numbness in my left lower abdomen the last couple of days. I was wondering if anyone has had something similar happen to them before? I have never heard of it so it has me a little worried. Is it something I should be worried about? I usualy have pain in that area, but now it's just numb, with a bit of pain surounding it. I made an appointment to see my family doctor, but I have to wait over a week before I can get in to see him.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I haven't experienced this so I can't be of help, I'm afraid. I would defo try and get in sooner to see your doc though, tell them its an emergency, for all you know it could be. Best of luck

Thanks for the reply. The numbness went away after a couple of days. I didn't go see anyone, I always feel stupid if I go in and it turns out to be something minor. Some doctors make me feel like I'm wasting their time. Maybe it was just swelling pressing up against a nerve, or something like that.
