Off 6-MP now with two months supply to give or throw away

I had surgery over a year ago and am now on Humira. My doc took me off 6-MP but I'm left with a 2 month supply. They were filled in September and October 2011. I have not opened the containers or touched them. Since I understand what it's like to pay for this out of pockets, it seems like a waste to throw them away. I will send them to an uninsured forum member for free. Please contact me.

Did 6-mp help you gain weight? I am going to be put on imuran after my next surgery. I would like to try 6-mp though if it can help with weight gain.

6-mp will not help you gain weight. The only one I know is prednisone, and you need a pretty high prolonged does, which is not a good idea if not medically necessary.

I"ve never heard of one, and I'd be surprised if it existed, lots of liability.

I know they have bins for HIV meds for drop off. Seen them but maybe it's for sealed.
