Crohn's the gift that keeps on giving, Keeps up it reputation from anclosing spondilious to Now Shingles! Woo it's fun adult chicken pox, Dr said from taking Humira. LOl I kind of expect it, gott get something new every year

Shingles are really common. I know several people that have had them. None of them liked it much. Hope you get over them quick.

Yeah, I'm fighting a nasty battle with Ankylosing Spondylitis right now, and I suspect a skin rash I have may also be autoimmune in nature. Thankfully, my Crohn's is in retreat.

I commiserate with you.

Very belated...but I had shingles. When I was 16 or so! I was really stressed, on an immunosuppresant, and my dad was in the ICU with heart problems...

When I went to a pediatrician at my dr's office for my "rash" she kind of looked at it, went, "Hmmm" (never a good sound from a doc, I have found), then called in my normal doc and said to her..."Does that look like what I think it looks like?"

Yeah...shingles is annoying, but in the overall span of crohns problems, I'd say its low on the list. Plus...it gives me funny stories about how I get all the illnesses of 80 year olds (I also had a blood clot after surgery once).
