Okay so I had my Colonoscopy, they said no Visual of Crohns but that they took
A bunch of Samples to test at the lab and to see if there is any type of inflammation or changes to be seen.
At the moment I am back to square one..
I Still can't handle the Pain and I found out the other day that my timing in my digestive tract is way off..
Apparently food should leave your stomach within 2-4 hours and that it should leave your body within 12-24hrs
My stomach takes 8-12 to push through food and up to 48-72 hours to leave my body....
so my question is... What can my doctor help me with in regards to pain management and being able to tolerate this nightmare?
Any input would be appreciated.

So have you not officially been diagnosed with Crohn's?

And what kind of pain are you in? Just stomach cramp and tenderness pain, or is it more like nausea and diarrhea? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to get an understanding on what you're going through!

Years ago, my doctors gave me some morphine pills for my stomach pains. It was temporary of course but it seemed to help. Now, if you are getting nausea or gas pains ask your doctor if ondansetron (dissovable or injection would be best) is a possibility for you.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with food not passing quickly enough, quite the opposite actually. So I hope you get better soon! <3

I have not officially been diagnosed with Crohns but am positive I have some form of IBD..
I have severe abdominal pain after eating right from the stomach to the bowels...
It goes from cramping to stabbing tearing pain...
my bowels jump from diarrheah to constipation..
I have been given Dilaudid for Pain but it affects me when I don't need it
So I'm looking at other IBD treatment options.

Are you vomiting at all? Do you feel full right away after a couple bites of food?

With pain like that, an obstruction of some sort is possible, particularly in your small intestine where the scopes can't reach and see what's going on.

One thing you could consider is trying a liquid diet for a couple of days. I wouldn't do it for a long period without talking to your doctor, but you could try a couple of days and see if your pain eases any. Just a thought.

My son had a stricture in his small intestine and the diameter of his intestine was the size of a drinking straw. Very painful trying to process food through as you can imagine.

If the pain gets extreme, please get yourself to the hospital.

Keep us posted...
