Out of hospital and feeling terrible

On Monday, I went into the hospital during the night for severe wave like pain (I have a stricture on my right side). I was admitted until Thursday and released after I was able to pass stool after suppositories. The GI said the CT scan showed the same stricture but it had stool stuck in it which was causing me the pain. We are trying to avoid surgery at this point.

I am feeling terrible. No pain, but very dizzy, sleepy and nauseaus. My eyes don't seem to focus well on things. (Typing this is fun...). I went home on Protonix, Zofran, and Prednisone for meds. Not taking anything for pain. No stool since Thursday but not able to eat much either. I feel very bloated since my first meal... like I over ate and it's stuck in my stomach. I sleep sitting up.

Any ideas to help this pass? I've never had this dizziness before. I called the office friday and they said just take another Protonix and the doc will call you later. He never did.

with my experienes with pred and a closing large bowel id say give it a few days till the pred kicks in youll know when and if its helping, hope you get some relief soon and get back to bed

Sorry you are feeling badly and hope you will soon get some relief.
Don't suffer too long before calling your doctor who should know about your condition and take any necessary action.
Maybe he did not receive your message--- it can happen.
