My doctor wants me to see a gynecologist because my most troubling crohn's symptoms consistently coincide with ovulation. Lethargy, cramps, etcetera that occur during my considerably minor flares, turn into me being unable to stand up or breathe without crippling pain.

Most likely, ovulation near the affected area causes the pain but he wants me to see a gyno just in case... anyone? Any advice? Similar things?

That's already been ruled out by timing of symptoms and capsule endoscopy.
