Pain after Colonoscopy

So I had my second colonoscopy two days ago and am in quite a bit of pain now. The pain seems to be mainly around my anus and just the very end of my colon and standing or sitting in one place seems to make the pain worse too. I have no noticeable abdominal pain and have seen no blood in my stool so far.

The procedure itself was fairly painful (it was painful the first time too) and I think my doctor switched scopes halfway through to get through a narrow part of my colon (the first colonoscopy he said he couldn't get through it.)
I overheard he was running late that day and am wondering if he was rushing and maybe was just a bit rough on me? I'm also thinking I might have had a fissure or tear before and the colonoscopy made it worse? Not too sure though, anyone else have any experience like this?

I have in the past been very sore after colonoscopy and passed some blood. But it is not uncommon to be sore if you are already inflammed. If you are worried about it I would contact your doctor.

I've heard from a few people that they were sore for quite a few days after the procedure and it went away eventually, but most of what I've read says pain isn't normal. The thing that has me concerned is that it seems to just be isolated to my anus and not further in where they would've taken the biopsy from.

My main issue right now is that it's almost the weekend so I doubt I'll be able to see my doctor until Monday at the earliest. I'm willing to check myself into the ER if it gets worse but I'm just not sure if it's alright to leave it until next week or if I should suffer through the busy ER waiting room over the weekend.

I had my colonoscopy 2 days ago and just now started feeling normal again. I have internal hemorrhoids, which made it worse (the diarrhea from the prep didn't help). I also saw a bit of very watery blood when I wiped yesterday. The scope is an invasive procedure which can cause uncomfortable pain afterward. If you are very concerned and can't get into your GI doc's office, I would go to the ER. But, unless there is a lot of bleeding and/or you are in extreme pain, it's probably going to go away on it's own in a few days.

Something to remember is that the doctor used CO2 gas to inflate your intestines so he could see the lining. If you have trapped gas, it can cause bloating and discomfort.
