pain and swelling..

:ywow:the last week my just under neath my chest i have severve pain and swelling..i work in a nursing home and the nurse gave me gaviscon which helped but it is still there a liitle today i think it could be my liver as i am on imuran steroids and they can cause liver failure..any one experience the same thing...

I don't have any experience with the same issue, but I certainly think you should call your GI. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but it's better to be safe than sorry!

If Gaviscon helped then it's probably not your liver. Do you experience anxiety?

In any case, how often do you have your LFTs checked? How recent is your latest test? Maybe time to get that done, if only for peace of mind? Is Imuran one of the drugs that require regular LFTs? If it is and you're not doing that, you should be!
