I have a lot of pain before bowel movement last month or maybe more, but only in the morning, through the day when I have to go it's normal. And it worried me today I had to go three times before it calmed down, and it happend only today it never happened like that before. It worries what does this mean? I don' have any symptoms and through the last 6 months I have finally gained weight.

Hi, I have suffered with severe pain having bowel motions, can I ask where your pain is? Mine used to be from my anus through to my bladder, it hurt like hell and would bring me to tears every time

I used to get terrible "Crohn's cramps" preceding a bowel movement. They would make me experience tenesmus, which was incredibly uncomfortable.

You should probably call your GI and let them know. You may have to go on a short course of prednisone. Even if you aren't having other symptoms, you have to remember that for some people inflammation can occur and be totally asymptomatic, but can still be doing damage internally. So you have to be as vigilant as possible to take care of yourself!

It's just all over my stomach. I'm scared if ill have to get a colonoscopy, I really don't wanna go through everything again and i've been in remission for a year. I never got corticosteroids I was on Modulen IBD, and for 6 weeks I wasn't eating, and im scared of corticosteroid because of the symptoms.

And just to say I have E.coli in my urine, so I was taking antibiotics and I know they destroy good and bacteria, so can they make some damage?
