This is a new symptom for me! I've had Crohn's disease apparently since 1999..... But just recently diagnosed! Long story anyways the past two days I've been experiencing pain in a new location. When I've developed obstructions in the past the pain would localize itself in my lower right quadrant. The past two days I've had intermittent pain in the center of my abdomen approx 3 inches above the belly button! Could this be a stomach issue or the upper part of the small bowel getting narrowed??? Please comment and let me know what you think!!! Thanks!!!

Sorry to hear this. I've had pain in that location...it was a stricture. I think you should call the doctor.

That's what I was afraid of!!! But it's not constant like the other obstructions I've had! Really watching my diet..... Eating lightly and liquids mostly! Hopefully this passes!!!! Ugh!! Thanks, for the comment

I hope so too. But don't delay medical attention if you start getting signs of a blockage.

Oh believe me I won't! I've had all too many of those and hope this won't turn out that way! Fortunately the pain doesn't last for more than a hour or two @ a time.....usually after I eat! So I'm trying to lay low.... Eat lightly and mostly fluids!!!
