Hello All,
I just joined this forum today and look forward to reading your replies and posts.
Here's a bit of background information about me. I was misdiagnosed with ulcerative Colitis 11 years ago and properly diagnosed with Crohn's last year. long story short, I started taking Remicade when I was diagnosed with Crohn's, all in all the results have been pretty good to date, however I have been having one issue that Dr's are unable to explain.
About 2 months ago I started feeling a burning/aching sensation in my left elbow, this is the same arm the I have been receiving my infusions in as well. I have had x-rays and have gone to a rheumatologist with no luck in finding a cause.
The pain is only in my left elbow and doesn't stop me from my day to day activities, but as soon and I stop for any time at all, it hurts to start bending the arm.
I guess my question is; has or is anybody else dealing with this same issue? I have heard many people say that Remicade causes joint pain for them but it seems to be all of their joints in most cases.
Sincerely
DB
