Don't worry about posting new threads I don't think anyone is as bad as me and some of mine are really Dumb. I think everyone must think I'm nutts. I really want to see if I can help but I'm not sure if I understand were the pain is could you explain a bit more detail .

Hi, its in my tummy right at the side of my belly button onthe right sidewhere i get the pain, when im walking it just feels like its heightened and gives me a feeling like i wanna be sick.

Hey Porter - please don't feel funny about posting. If we all felt funny about posting - well - heck - there wouldn't be a forum ;)

I can only share with you what my doctor has always told me - if you have pain while walking - call me (those are her exact words). And there have been a few times over the years where this has happened. You need to go let them feel on your belly - you may be having active inflammation/a flare in that spot.

Hiya im kind of worrying now, i had the pain before they diagnosed me with crohns disease and then had the steriods and it went and now they saying it isnt it and this visceral hypersensitivity and just noticed again its coming back, some days its not there and others it is was just wondering if your did that to. What did your feel like cos mine is a dull achey pain

Dull achy pain for me usually means inflammation - but remember - we are all different. The other thing that can happen to me is if I play racquetball too aggressively (too much torque on the torso) I'll have pain for a few days after in the area where my surgery was - but I usually attribute it to pulling at my internal scar tissue that I have. If it lasts for more than 2 or 3 days I usually start thinking about calling the doc.

I remember having pains near my right abdomen, then it became worse, especially when I walk, when I did see the doctor, I could barely walk from the pain. He sent me to the ER immediately, had surgery that night. I hadn't been diagnosed yet, they thought it was my appendix...Surprise I just lost part of my small intestine. I wish I had seen the doc earlier.

Yeah i'll give it a few daysand if not give my GI a call its just so annoyin i call this pain freddy kruger like he there all the time when i just want the nightmare 2 go away lol im quite sad but hey if you cant laugh might as well cry. just kindo of gettin worried now

Im doing crap lol ifeel like crap and poopin crap and puking sick and feeling like crap do any of you ever get like this really sharp stabbing pain under your ribs where you just scream OOOOOOOOOW

Um - yes - usually when I'm walking to pick up the phone to call my doctor! Seriously - you NEED to call your doctor, without a doubt at this point. If you end up having a perf or something....well..I'm just saying - call your doctor as it doesn't sound good! Are you running a fever? All that stuff you just described would be a ticket to the doctor's office for me - she wouldn't even hesitate to get me in and see me - so- call!!

Well i dont no if im running a fever but i get hot and feel hoter usually more at night times it comes up its really weird. I dont get the stabbing pains all the time it just like once a day really, does that still count a trip to the drs still.?

Hi there, I'm new to this but I had lots of really bad pain under my ribs I could not breath properly nor move but my doc said it was nothing to do with Crohn's and it went away after a few weeks. But I highly recommend you see you doc to make sure.
