I do not have an answer for you, but here is some insight: I personally took Pentasa for 5 years with no benefit. Where is your Crohn's? I just switched doctors and learned that Pentasa targets the colon. If your disease is more severe/active in your terminal ileum or higher up in your small intestine, Pentasa may not be able to reduce that inflammation.
