Has anyone had a fistula close while on Remicade or another Biologic and if so did it abscess during the healing/closing process?

Yes, I had multiple fistula close up after starting Remicade - no issues with abscessing etc.....

I've had several perianal and bladder to bowel fistulas close with Remicade. But my GI kept me on Flagyl and Cipro until they were completely healed.

I wish mine kept me on cipro and flagyl until they close...no where near closing and we are coming up on almost two months. I was only on them for two weeks, but since I am so prone to C-Diff, they were afraid the antibiotics would trigger that again, they are just watching and waiting. I am willing to try almost anything to get the fistulas to close. Not sure I will ever get use to this... :/

Thank you all for the comments. Trying Cipro and Flagyl now in hopes of preventing drainage of the areas or Seton placement.
