So I had to stop Humira because it kept getting me sick with upper resp colds that wouldn't go away. Yesterday would have been injection day (did it every other week for a few months). Today I can feel random needle prick or medication swelling in kind of pain that you get from an injection (I used the pens). Kind of weird. I don't see anything on my belly but its definitely a surface pain in areas I've injected in before.

My stomach muscles used to twitch the day before an injection now I have phantom needle pains. :p My guess is it will go away but it's definitely strange.

I'll be starting Remicade once my insurance clears it. So for now I'm on no meds and I'm not too happy about that.

lol, I don't think it is. Just thought it was strange. Haven't had any issues since then though. :)

Strange it affected you by making you susceptible to colds. So far so good, and I've hugged people who came down with colds after hugging me, LOL.

I had kind of come to the conclusion on my own that all the hand-washing and stuff was actually more a concern about TB carriers than cold's virus. Most people would not get TB from the exposure, we Humira folks could.

When the time comes I'm off the Pen I don't want any damn phantom anythings.....I could see it happening tho-Murphy's Law, cause I'm having mental issues regarding the shots the longer I am on it ; (
I guess I'm lucky, I actually have no colds/bronchitis since I started, However I get infected with the the damn rotavirus and its cousins at least once a year which never happened before....like I don't poop enough lol

Its has gone away for sure. Last Tuesday was supposed to be another injection day and I didn't feel anything. I'm also not sick again. Yay! :D
