Hello Tylor,
You have a somewhat familiar story for this forum and I feel your pain.
No one should tolerate the symptoms you have and you really need to see a good Gastroenterologist as soon as possible.
You need to have blood work done such as CBC, ESR, CRP , Vit B12 and iron levels to name a few.
The gold standard for your kind of symptoms is a colonoscopy with biopsies, an upper endoscopy just to mention a few of the investigations.
Try and get an appointment with a GI specialist as soon as possible. If you don't know of any there are some listed in the forum under 'doctors.
If your symptoms are really acute you should go to Emergency and get some help.
A teaching hospital would be a good choice.
Do not continue to suffer in this way especially when there is help available to you.
Please keep in touch with us and let us know how you get on and if we can be of further help to you.
Feel better soon
Hugs and best wishes
Trysha

Hey Tylor, I have experienced most of what you are. The joint pain was random and occasionally my joints would swell to the point that I thought I had broken something. That normally occurred during a bad flare.

I have also had the food issue of eating something and then pain and puking, however it was normally a gallbladder attack to fatty foods. I would eat something and hours later the pain would start and not go away until after I had been sick.

Keep a list of all the symptoms that you are having, even the small ones and take it with you when you see a doctor, it might help them in making a concrete diagnosis.

Good Luck :) you found a good site to get your questions answered

Hi Tylor and welcome to the forum. :D May I ask what tests they did while you were in the hospital? Your symptoms sound very similar to a partial blockage. Hope you're able to start seeing a GI doctor soon if you aren't already. Keep us posted.

I can't have any pepper at all, I had a structure and I am sure I waited to long to finally
get admitted to the hospital!

Listen to your body!

Do you have a gastroenterologist? or even a regular GP? If so, what do they have to say about your symptoms? Crohn's is difficult to diagnose without a number of tests, but you must start on the process of determining what is wrong with you. This means getting to a medical practitioner - preferably a gastroenterologist - and, at least, starting to eliminate some possibilities.

I had exactly the same fears as yourself before getting diagnosis. I've experienced all of the same symptoms as you. The best thing I did was to repeatedly go to my Doctors until I was referred for a colonoscopy, after which I got a diagnosis and started on the treatment.

Hang in there and be persistent with them

it does sound like crohns, thats all the symptoms i have when im out of remission. But i would still get to the doctor ASAP. Try not to stress to much (i know its hard) but stress can make symptoms ALOT worse.
If you still can't eat get a meal replacement shake. (there are special ones for ibd, don't know if you have them in america) but any would do.
And also start drinking Electrolytes.
When you have really bad diarrhea it isn't just water your losing its Electrolytes so you need to put that back into your body. I find sports drinks horrible for my gut so go to your pharmacist and ask what Electrolyte drink you should be having.

But keep seeing doctors and asking questions till they diagnose you. Ask for a colonoscopy that would be the best way to find out what is going on.

Im so sorry your going through this and my thoughts are with you.

Theres no way to really know unless you see a Gastro doctor. It could be many different things you are dealing with. I also am undiagnosed and my gastro keeps saying he thinks I have IBS. I am not sure of that though. I would definitely see a gastro. Also, have you tried different diets, like perhaps going gluten free? I hope you get some relief soon.

Unfortunatly our Drs don't always see us at our worst.

With our symptoms worse at night, the ER can be a stepping stone to a more aggressive look into a diagnosis.
