poem to my crohns
"dearest crohns" youve been beating me down, making me frown. one day im up, the next day im down. i feel like a yo-yo, symptoms have me spinning around and around. but today isnt going to be like the last. my pain may not be in the past, but i'll be damned if your going to get in my way. take the back seat buddy, im driving today. yes, the toilet has been my special friend. and sometimes the pain feels like it'll never end. the prednisone has me feeling insane. seriously cant wait for the side effects to go away. percocet has been real good to me, but the constipation has me bent over like a felled tree. i digress dear crohns, for this poem is for you. im bound and determined you wont have me feeling so blue. so do your worst, im going to make it thru this day. doesnt matter what you have to say.
