Prednisone and "buffalo hump"

I didn't get this the first time I was on pred., but I got it this time. Will this go away when I get off? For those who had it, how long did it take to go away after you were off pred? Its annoying because I can't bend my head back all the way due to the fat there lol.

HA! I had it. Don't fret, it goes away. In fact, that went away a lot faster than the moon face and jelly belly. But I know EXACTLY what you mean, that "hump" was soooooo annoying. I don't know what it looked like (hair to cover it) but it felt more like a Camel hump, or two back there.

Mines still there, though it is a lot smaller than it was. But I am on and off of Pred. The longest I was off was about a year... it was still there
