Prednisone withdrawal

Has anyone's child had severe headaches while tapering off prednisone? It's been about twice a week and I just left a message for doc.

I've always experienced headaches with withdrawal--from the time I was 13 to now at 41. Good idea to call doc though and check b12 levels. Staying hydrated helps too.

C did have a few headaches while tapering but I never thought to associate it with the taper...hmmm.

not my child, but me! currently on day 2 pred-free after a month and a half dose. headaches, drowsiness, and weird rash that Ill chalk up to the drugs flushing out of my system. it is a harsh drug so your body is going to do some weird things to deal with it. staying extra hydrated is good enough for the headaches Im getting
