The diarrhea and urgency are back. Just today, I woke up and had terrible gas pains. The urgency started, and even after relieving myself, I still have the urge to go. It's so annoying! To make matters worse, I'm dealing with a lot of pressure/bloating. Honestly, this discomfort feels kind of like the beginning of labor. To make light of the situation; no I'm not the next woman who will appear on the show, "I didn't know I was pregnant." I'm not! The pressure is causing a lot nausea too. If you go through this, what helps?

Loperamide for the diarrhea, I use Immodium Syrup. Gets into your system v fast. For the nausea after many years of using Domperidone I know munch on a ginger biscuit-just as good.
Hope your feeling better very soon.

Immodium Syrup for me, too. However, use this sparingly. Too much of this causes constipation which introduces a whole new world of problems as your body tries to sort things out. I have also found that a couple of Gas X work surprising well when I am feeling bloated. Doesn't cure it but at least makes life a little less uncomfortable.

Thank you Grant and Angel. Ginger works wonders for the nausea. I find that when I get the pressure, gas, and nausea combined things are harder for me to handle. I have a prescription for Loperamide and it does work. Sometimes I get hesitant to use it because it can make me very drowsy. With two babies that's dangerous. I'll try the Immodium Syrup and the Gas X.
