One question that I have always had--is there a probiotic and a certain vitamin brand that agrees with crohns? I get really tired of the doctors telling me to take vitamins such as A, D, E, fish oil, general vitamins, and etc--and they bother my intestinal problems. I bet many of you can answer this. I could sure use the help.

I just use a supermarket own brand, but I get the kids chewable kind and have never had a problem. i figure they're kinder to my system than throwing more pills at it.

I also just use a supermarket own brand of vitamins. I havent had any problems. Hope you find something you can take!

Yep supermarket own brand of garlic (take during winter), Multi vit with Iron but for immunity I go to a shop called Holland and Barratt for a good quality echinecea.

I think the kids vitamins are a really good idea :)

Gelcaps or Chewables might sit better then tablets. However, some vitamins will cause diarrhea and nausea when taken in larger doses. Vit. D for one. I am Vit. D deficient and it causes a lot of diarrhea for a couple days after I take my once weekly supplement.
There are a lot of different approaches you can try. Start with lower dose vitamins and work your way up to let your system adjust (children's, a multivitamin that is taken 3 times a day like a lot of skin hair and nails multi-vitamins). Ensure, Boost, even Carnation Instant Breakfasts (I drink 2 a day with soy milk).

Align is the only one that helps per my GI due to the specific type of bacteria. Not sure about the delivery mechanism working for you though.
