Protonix

so I got my gallbladder taken out Wed. and was released today.
I finally got a prescription for Protonix which works so wonderfully for me, but this is the first time I've gotten this without full insurance coverage and with my insurance it's $95.
does anyone know of a cheaper version of this cause I just lost alot of work and cannot afford this but NEED it badly.

It is a proton pump inhibitor drug. There are both name brands and generic of the drug. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proton_pump_inhibitor

Prilosec which I take shows $132 for 30 days, while the generic is $26. I show $117 for protonix but no generics for that one or any others but the one I'm on (Omeprazole). Price it out with your local pharmacy and talk to your doctor.
