Psoas Muscle abscess and fistula

I'm in the hospital with a drain on my psoas muscle. I have a fistula there from my terminal ilieum. The pain is under control, but I'm bloated! (!!!) and have another CT tomorrow.

Does anyone have experience with this? The journals that I've read on-line mostly seem to say this leads to surgery. That makes me nervous.

If you have any experience wit this, could you message me back please?
