This might be a dumb question but do I take my Entocort with my Colazal or does it replace it? For the life of me I can't remember if I took it in addition to the anti inflammatory or instead of it last time and the dr didn't really specify.

Probably a question you should ask your doctor. Lots of people take more than one type of drug, but not always necessary. Only your doc will be able to tell you if it's intended for you to take both or not.

I am just unsure tonight if I should take Colazal with it or not. In the past they were very specific to stop one when needed. The fact that they didn't say to stop made me think I was taking both. I only questioned it when my husband asked if I was taking both. I was like "I thought so." I can't get a hold of the dr till the a.m. again.

If the doc didn't tell you to stop taking the other med, then I take it until you can reach him unless there the two drugs don't interact well. (I'm not sure if there are interactions or not)

It doesn't look like there are any interactions. I will take both tonight and just have to see what he says tomorrow. I think I was on Pentasa last time I had Entocort and the GI at the time said to stop those because they weren't working.
