Hi everyone ! I'm new to this forum. I'm 26 female. I was diagnosed with crohns in my small intestine ileum in May. I am having trouble with some symptoms. I am curious if anyone gets pain so low below their belly button. It almost feels like menstrual cramps and a burning pain in my lower abdomen as well will a lot of pressure! I do get stabs of pain in my ileum but those have been controlled. Everything Gyno has been ruled out since I spent a year in that office before anyone mentioned Ibd. Can anyone male or female tell me if they experience this I am very paranoid and in pain daily :(. Thank you !

I don't know but there will probably be someone here soon who will probably be able to answer. Have you told your gi about your pains?

Hi sorry for your troubles hun.. If gynecology issues are ruled out it sounds like it may be ibd. I say this as it sounds similar to the pain I used to have. See if you can get a fecal calprotectin test done, as this can detect inflammation in the intestinal tract that usually suggests an ibd.
Best wishes n good luck, hope you can get this sorted out soon đź’•

Ps if you click on the underlined it should take you to a link to describe the underlined word..

Kat, I had some left, very low abdominal pain and that fullness feeling before I got stabilized on medication. Are you on any medications such as prednisone, lialda, Remicade, or Humira? It could just be the inflammation. But if you were diagnosed in May and still in some severe pain, you should definitely contact your doctor. Don't be afraid to talk to your physician.

Your doctor would be the best judge but when I had an obstruction I would sometimes feel full before finishing eating.
