Hi guys, I was diagnosed with crohns in September 2016. Long story short, I had a right hemi colectomy and a temp stoma due to a perforation. However I am now doing really well, I am in remission due to the surgery and have had my stoma reversed.

My main question is for anyone that is in remission, do you still have foods that make you extremely irritable? I mean I know I have half less colon and a little small bowel removed too, but my stools are far better than they were pre surgery etc, I'm forming stool and its good. Health wise I'm really good, however today I ate an egg roll from a sandwich shop and holy crap it sent me to the toilet 3 times today, and it was extremely lose and slightly watery, anyone still have issues with some foods? Possibly what they cooked it in or mixed it with, I have no issue with eggs usually.. This morning my stool was actually good too.

Thanks in advance :)

I have problems with fried foods, or anything high in fat. I also stay away from milk products other than yogurt and hard cheeses. You could keep a food diary to try to find out what things don't agree with you.

I am in remission as well and still have issues with some foods or have an off day here and there.
