What should I notice from taking Questran and how long before I notice something?

By the looks of it you are taking 2 pkgs? It takes some time to work it isnt like imodium, it is a bile reducer. You may find some bloating but it will go away. Just make sure you drinks lots of water and don't take your medicines with it.

Yes i'm taking 2 packets. Started taking it Friday night, so 2 days of taking it.
I do also take Gas-X ultra every day. Hopefully that will help some. Maybe I should up that to 2 times a day as well. Will it stop me from having to go or will it just firm stuff up?
I have been following the directions about not taking medications with it. taking them 1 hour before and 4 hours after. That makes things VERY difficult. Still trying to sort the times out.

I Hope gas x works for ya, didnt for me. Give the Questran some time to work, it doesn't work for everyone but it did for me and my sister. She had to take 3 sometimes 4 packages a day, and meds, she said it was damn near impossible to time things out. I only had to take one. So I did that first thing. It doesn't stop it per se, it really slows down the bms. Not as many either or watery. Do you like banana's they are also a good binder, as well as applesauce. Sorry if I mentioned it before...

Yeah, I've been keeping bananas on hand and eat one every day. Have been for a while now. Things are still undecided about applesauce. I have some and eat it once in a while, but I don't think it sits well with me. I'll have to experiment more.
If this starts working, is it possible that I will be able to back off of the Lomotil?
What about urgency. Will that decrease some?

Lomotil should be stopped or limited, not good to take it anyways. You could end up worse downt the road. The urgency will slow. Do you have to work/school tomorrow? If not try going off the lomotil. If you have to go out , then back off as much as you can. If you are close to the loo, of course.
