Hi everyone,
After struggling to control my CD for the past 3 years and having been through most conventional treatment options (Asacol, Azathioprine, 6-MP, Remicade, Humira, Methotrexate, Lialda), my local GI doc is recommending I visit a Crohn's specialist. He has recommended a few names below. Does anyone have any experience with these docs, or do you recommend anyone else? I'm looking for a leading doctor that might have advice based on new research and/or can approach my condition from a different angle. The standard approaches haven't worked and I can't take Prednisone for ever. Many thanks! Dan
Dr. Bret Lashner - Cleveland Clinic
Dr. Jean-Paul Achkar - Cleveland Clinic
Dr. Stephen Hanauer - University of Chicago
Dr. Thomas Ullman - Mount Sinai
Dr. Mark Babyatsky - Mount Sinai
