Recovery after surgery

Hi,

Just an update to let you know how Jacks Surgery went. He has had 35cm of small bowel 10cm of colon and his appendix removed through keyhole surgery.He is not doing to good has been really sick since op on Friday hoping the next few days brings good news and he starts to turn a corner going back to hospital to be with him will keep you posted on his recovery.

My sons surgery wasn't as extensive as Jack's but it was also done on a Friday and we didn't start seeing much improvement until Monday/Tuesday. Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery.

Wishing him a speedy recovery! Just take it one day at a time. It does take a while but hopefully he will bounce back quickly.

Nope nothing yet. Getting quite frustrated. His secretary is lovely but never seems to remember to phone me back. Apparently they have their theatre list for November so he is supposed to be discussing it with her - hope she phones back soon! How long is Jack going to be staying in the hospital?
