Rectal Bleeding - Should I go to the ER?

I was recently diagnosed with Crohns don't know a lot about it so was going to ask a question. if I'm bleeding should i go to er cuz this is the first time I've had blood in stool and it was just blood no stool

hi its most likely the treatment you are on is not working. are you taking any medication? If you cant contact your nurse or GI or dont have any, yes you should go to the ER so things dont keep escalating. best wishes.

There's a common saying. If you're wondering if you should go to the ER, it must be time to go. I believe it maybe in different wording. But, you get my drift.

Was your diagnosis rectal? If so, that could be a possibility of why you could be dripping blood too though. Not to take things lightly. But, my diagnosis is rectal and when I'm in a bad flare I too drip blood regularly. But, once my flare starts to get better the blood begins to go away.

It is not rectal i have crohns in small intestine. I hate to burden anyone cuz I'm 35 with 2 young children. they always admit me when i go to er. ty

It may just be the beginning of a flare - I would call your GI & ask for some prednisone
