Rectal pain

I know there is another thread where someone was asking about rectal pain, but I couldn't find it, so I figured I would start a new one.

Last week during my colonoscopy, my GI found rectal ulcers, which he believes to be the cause of both my anemia and rectal pain. So, I thought I would bring it up in regard to that pain. I get a lot of sharp, stabbing pains in the left side of the inside of my butt.

If you're experiencing this kind of pain, maybe rectal ulcers? Just thought I would share.

yeah got the rectal pain issues but I found out about the CALMOSEPTIN for the
outside and lidocaine hc for the inside boy sweet relief. I think I'll just splash my
whole body with the both of them they make me feel so good.

Hey - Thanks for the post santos61198! My rectal issues subsided somewhat (i think they are somehow related to my lady cycle), but now I am having all sorts of bad pain on the left side of my abdomen- especially after a BM. It kinda feels like glass moving though my insides.

Do you know if your ulcers from super bad inflammation? Or something else?

hey,

I had a similar issues but mine turned out to be anal fissures instead..good luck. Get a sitz bath and some numbing lotion...they will be your best friends~~!!!

Hey FO ~
Not sure what they're from. I have to call today to make a follow-up appt w/my GI (who, thankfully, is also my PCP and the best doctor I've ever had) in a couple weeks to get the results from the gazillion biopsies I woke up to him taking (yup, he performs my colonoscopies and endoscopies as well - believe me, I know I'm lucky!).
I'll ask him why they're there. Maybe I'll just email him today and ask.
Either way, as soon as I find out, I'll let you all know
