Redness and burning in anus

Since dx in oct/o7 have had burning in anus and around. I left it because it would go away. Last 4 days its a bit more, i checked and its a little bit red around anus, but a red skinny line goes up crack about 4 inches. I've been having exreme gas and could this cause dampness and this redness. But i do feel like a sore in anus.

I used to have this, do to all my output, also do to leakage. I used to take a piece of toliet paper and fold it place it between the cheeks. Replace as needed. I helped to keep the moisture off my skin, you can also try some creams used for diaper rash.

thats exactly what i used to do?! thought i was the only one?!

my sore anus was the infection seeping out and burning the skin. although it may just be where you pass stools and wipe after so may need to 1) review your diet 2) see your doctor to double check things or 3) as mentioned, get a barrier cream or spray to protect the skin.

this is happening to me lately, burns like hell for 5 minutes, i assume its a fissure, i use balneol otc and stool softners

I had the same problem. It hurt so much that it would burn and itch at the same time. So much so that it would wake me at night.

I told my doctor about it and he prescribe a cream that freeze my skin there so I feel noithing. When I get home tonight I'll write the cream I got. It worked wonders for me. Everything healed within a weeks time. That zink cream was never enough to cure it.

I second CDDad. Calmoseptine is pink butt power in a tube. It not only protects, but it soothes. It's not prescription, but you still have to ask for it at the pharmacy and they may have to special order it for you.
I use it almost every day. It's wonderful.

Sounds like me when I have an anal fissure....Calmoseptine is great for this, you can get it at any drug store but usually you have to ask the pharmacist for it.
