Hello everyone,
Being new to Crohn's, every pain or discomfort my son has freaks me out, to be quite honest. Is there a way to distinguish what is "normal" pain or discomfort for a Crohns patient versus what is serious and needs to be addressed immediately? I guess I am wondering how I can tell what is 'par for the course' and what I should look for that isn't.
He has been having pains since last night, on and off, and hasn't had a BM since yesterday earlier in the day. I am starting to worry he has another blockage. He actually already has an appointment set up with a surgeon this afternoon to go over his last x-rays (has 6 cm of small intestine that is very narrowed that they are concerned about) so I am glad to be seeing him, but I am also wondering for future reference what is 'normal' and what is not.
Thank you so much for your help!
Kelly
